Mariola Ruiz is a graduate in English Language and Literature at University of Córdoba (2009-2014) and she has completed two Master’s degrees: English for Professional Qualification (2016-2017) as well as the Master in Teaching Obligatory Secondary Studies, High School, Vocational Training and Language (2019-2021). Currently, she is working on her PhD in the field of English Queer Gothic Literature.
She has participated in numerous national and international conferences related to literature and gender on which she has several publications. She has been a visitor researcher in the Royal Holloway University (London, UK) and University College Cork (Cork, Ireland). Currently, she is a member of the investigation team project Teoría y Estudios Culturales (HUM409).
